This is an academic book on the subject of the northeastern part of the country, prepared for the students of level 3 in Mizoram. The book is divided into three parts. The first part contains lessons on the boundaries that separate each state, and the flora and fauna found in the region. The second part discusses about the seven states - Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland. The third part contains lessons on the physical nature of the land as well as the political, socio-economic aspects of the states.
