[...] in-law back to health and happy that he and his money had been so useful prepared to return home to his loving wife with a thousand thoughts of re-union. [...] But things had happened in the meantime— Pitambar annoyed and suspicions at his son-in-law's mysterious flight changed his will—leaving everything to his daughter.
