[...] Crop.—The crop made was 2 495 maunds and of this 859 maunds were delivered to the Tea Controller for India on behalf of the Ministry of Food U. K. for export to the United Kingdom 1 438 maunds were sold for export to outmarkets and 198 maunds were sold for Internal Cosumption. [...] We report that we have audited the Balance Sheet of THE EANKASID TEA SEED ESTATE at 31st December 1950 and above set forth and the Revenue Account for the year ended Ira that date with the Books and Accounts as kept in Calcutta in which are incorporated the certified returns from the garden. [...] In our opinion such Balance Sheet exhibits a true and correct view of the state of the Estate's affairs according to the best of our information and the explanations given to us and as shown by the Books of the Estate.
