In compliance with the recommendation Committee of the Indian Jute Mills Associ the Company contribute to the Government Relief Fund for relief of distress in Bengal a His Excellency the Governor of Bengal's Red Cross and St. [...] The Shareholders will note in the Agenda for the Ordinary General Meeting the proposals to make the following donations :- To His Excellency The Governor of Bengal's Red Cross and St. [...] We beg to report that we have audited the Balance Sheet of the HOWRAII MILLS COMPANY LIMITED as at 30th September 1943 and the foregoing Profit and Loss Account for the half-year ended 30th September 1943 in which have been incorporated the Certified Returns from the Mill Manager. [...] We have obtained all the information and explanations we have required and in our opinion such Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account are drawn up in conformity with the law and the Balance Sheet exhibits a true and correct view of the state of the Company's affairs according to the best of our information and the explanations given to us and as shown by the Books of the Company.
