The success of forest administration the agency tracts undoubteadly depends on the ability of the District Forest Officer to maintain close and sympathetic contact with the aboriginal inhabitants. [...] An important conference was held in Chatrapur in receniher 1946 to discuss a scheme submitted by the writer for the establishment of aboriginal reservations withmil the object of better forest preservation and the improvment of the economic and social welfare of the aboriginal inhabitants.
