J. N. R. Mehta and we quote the following comment of the Sind Gazette on his proposal to form branches of the Order in Karachi :— An interesting letter will be found in another column from a respected Indian correspondent on the subject of the “ Sons of India ” a Society founded towards the close of the past year with the object of counter-acting the evil effects of anarchical preachers and societ [...] Please send me all the information concerning the Sons of India Society up to date that you consider may be useful to me to promote the cause of the Sons of India here.” This is the first of the activities of our Brother Fricke. [...] It is no anti-climax : the power of dicharging the duties of the citizens of a world-wide Empire depends on the training in acts of service in the home in the school in the college in the province and in the mother land. [...] By picketing you are bound to come into contact with the police and the police are bound to guard the liberty of the citizen and the order of the town.68 SONS OF INDIA [MARCH Those of you who are wardens on you falls the responsibility of giving advice and on members of higher councils the responsibility of advising on and solving the questions which will be submitted to them by their juniors an [...] And as long as the chief of the Sons of India and the President of the Theosophical Society are one and the same person it will be impossible to separate in the public mind the one from the other.
