Summary
The events of the past few days which culminated yesteday in the Governor going through the gestures of first asking for the advice of the leader of the Andhra Congress Legislative Assembly Party and subsequently of inviting Mr. [...] The implementation of the Sri Bagli Pact of 1937 the decisions regarding the Krishna Project which the new state will have to take the final choice of the capital. [...] In the eyes of the public and of the critics of the Rulers Mr. [...] The mission has been impressed by the following points: (i) the multi-pronged activities of the village co-operatives in helping the work of the farmer in everyway (ii) the application of the results of research in the labortory to actual cultivation and (iii) the research being done by Japanese agricultural scientists in relation to rice and the important role being played by universties i [...] The increases will be somewhat less in the provinces than in the Paris region because of the difference in the cost of living.
