Iran Society

The Iran Society, based in Kolkata (India), aims to promote Iranian culture, foster Indo-Iranian cultural relationships, and serve as a center for intellectual collaboration between India and Iran. The Society has published for more than eighty years, with a focus on the cultural, historical, and linguistic ties between India and Iran. The Society publishes a journal, Indo-Iranica; books on Indo-Persian studies; annual reports; publications on specific aspects of Iranian culture, history, and literature; proceedings of various meetings and lectures; language education resources; and other content.
