Indian National Science Academy

The mission of Indian National Science Academy is to act as a resource pool of knowledge; to promote Science in India; to harness scientific knowledge for National welfare; to identify and nurture scientific talent in the country, and to interface and represent the Indian Science and Scientists, globally on behalf of Govt. of India. The publication activities of INSA have the roots to the depth of Academy’s foundation in 1935 as being one of the key activities of the Academy. The activities encompass publications of many items including Biographical Memoirs of deceased Fellows.
