This collection contains 274 documents consisting of 13 handwritten notebooks and 261 printed, handwritten and typed paper documents. The documents include accounts transactions, record documents, court communications and numerous correspondances which have been categorised into postcards, temple communications, accounts, book document, court details, Invitations and general communications. These documents are mainly letters communicated between India and various locations in South East Asia by this family on various issues such as banking, goods transport and temple donation, etc. This collection comprises 5 series : (1) Correspondance, (2) Account notebooks, (3) Account documents, (4) Court documents, (5) Official and personal records. These documents are dated from 1898 to 1950. Dates of original material: 1898 to 26-02-1950. Extent and format of original material: The collection consists of 13 handwritten and printed Notesbook documents and 261 Printed, Handwritten and typed paper documents.
