Kashi is the spiritual centre of the universe, every breath taken in Kashi feels like it brings one closer to the almighty. It is an imperial part of the Sapta Puri in Hinduism and Jainism, and played an important role in the development of Buddhism. Some Hindus believe that death at the banks of the river Ganga is the easiest path to Moksha (salvation) Scholarly books have been written in the city, including the Ramcharitmanas of Tulsidas. The film is a compilation of the contributions of the different spiritual thinkers associated with the city and its heritage.
