The video is a presentation on the Udaan festival held in Udaipur in 2011 by the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC). The WZCC organizes Udaan workshops for youth with special needs every year. The youth are trained in the various classical and folk cultural forms of the country. The main aim of the programme is to provide a platform to the children to showcase their talents. The video features scenes from performances which were staged by these youth under the direction of Guru Syed Salauddin Pasha. They took up cultural forms such as Bharatanatyam, Chhau Dance, and Sufi whirling, to express themselves in song and dance. The youth performed difficult yoga asanas while balancing on wheel chairs. Three chapters from the epic Ramayana were enacted on the stage by youth who were challenging the limits imposed by their disability. During the programme they performed physically demanding cultural forms with grace.
