The program began with 'Shiva Shiv Murthavi Gana Natha Nivu Shivani Kumaradavu Gananatha', which is the traditional worship of Ganapati in Andhra Pradesh. The main singer of the program was Damodar Ganapathi Rao of Vijayawada. Surgam Ramakrishna Prasad and Kondala Sudhakar joined him as co-singers. Additionally, during the program Shripad Pandit Sitaram on the flute, Alagusani Daniel on the Dholak, and Dr. Linga Srinivas on the Dhappu, also joined in singing, along with playing the instruments. ‘Amata Antde Kodipila’ is a traditional folk song of Andhra Pradesh. In this song, a story about a hen is narrated, who also finds happiness in her death. In this song, it is described that the hen says that when she is boiled in hot water before her feathers are plucked out, she thinks that she has caught a cold and so she is being bathed in hot water. Then when her feathers are deplumed, she thinks that her hair is being groomed. After this, when she is cooked in a pot on fire by adding spices, she thinks that she is being beautified by anointing turmeric and sandal paste to her body. Finally, when she is placed on a plate of rice, she feels that she has been laid on a bed of white jasmine flowers. The man who eats her is not only able to fill his stomach, but by doing this, he is also arranging her journey to Kailash or heaven. The next song was ‘Manduloda Oeri Mayloda’. The song was a little bit perplexing for the audience. Mandulodu are those who collect herbs from forests and sell medicines at crossroads, and Mayloda means illusory. In this old folk song, a street-side fraudulent shopkeeper selling medicines, deceives and marries a girl, claiming to be rich. The girl is also clever. A few days later, the truth about them is revealed to each other. Both of them curse each other a lot, but later compromise. In the same course, the artists sang the ‘Nancharinagulolla Nagamma’ song. In this song, a boy proposes to a beautiful girl named Nagamma. Dr. Linga Srinivas, who accompanied this team, also performed a folk song. The lyrics of this song were ‘Mayaru Gurralu Mayaru Gurralu’. At the end of the program, all the performers sang the ‘Jayamu Jayamu Bharat Mata’ song with full enthusiasm. This was in praise of the motherland, Bharat Mata. The audience applauded loudly for all the artists, for their impressive singing. आंध्र प्रदेश की पारंपरिक गणपति अराधना ‘शिव शिव मूर्तिवी गण नाथा निवू शिवनी कुमारडवू गणनाथा’ से इस कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत हुई। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य गायक विजयवाड़ा के दामोदर गणपति राव थे। सहगायक के तौर पर सुरगम रामकृष्ण प्रसाद और कोंडाला सुधाकर ने इनका साथ दिया। इसके अलावा कार्यक्रम के दौरान श्रीपद पंडित सीताराम ने बांसुरी, अलगुसानी डेनियल ने ढोलक और डॉ. लिंगा श्रीनिवास ने ढप्पू वादन के साथ साथ गायन भी किया। ‘आमाटा अंटदे कोडीपिला’ - यह आंध्र प्रदेश का पारंपरिक लोकगीत है। इस गीत में कहानी एक मुर्गी की है, जो अपनी मौत का भी आनंद लेती है। इस गीत में ऐसा वर्णन किया गया है कि मुर्गी कहती है कि जब उसके पंख उखाड़ने से पहले उसे गर्म पानी में उबाला जाता है तो वह समझती है कि उसे ठंढ लग गई है, इसलिए उसे गर्म पानी से नहलाया जा रहा है। फिर जब पंख उखाड़े जाते हैं तो वह सोचती है कि उसके बाल संवारे जा रहे हैं। इसके बाद जब उसे हांडी में मसाला डालकर आग पर पकाया जाता है तो वह सोचती है कि उसके बदन पर हल्दी-चंदन का लेप लगाकर उसे सुंदर बनाया जा रहा है। आखिर में जब उसे थाली में चावल पर रखा जाता है तो उसे लगता है कि उसे सफेद मोगरे के फूलों की शैय्या पर लिटाया गया है। उसे खाकर एक आदमी का पेट भर रहा है जो कि उसकी कैलाश यात्रा का प्रबंध कर रहा है। अगला गीत था ‘मंदुलोड़ा ओरी मायलोडा’। यह गीत दर्शकों को थोड़ा हैरान करने वाला था। जंगल से जड़ी-बूटी इकट्ठा कर सड़क चौराहों पर दवाईयाँ बेचने वाले को मंदुलोडू कहते हैं और मायलोडा का मतलब है मायावी। इस पुराने लोकगीत में दवाई बेचने वाला एक सड़कछाप चालबाज दुकानदार खुद को अमीर बताकर एक लड़की से धोखे से ब्याह कर लेता है। वह लड़की भी चालाक रहती है। कुछ दिन बाद दोनों की एक दूसरे के सामने पोल खुल जाती है। दोनों एक दूसरे को बहुत कोसते हैं लेकिन बाद में समझौता कर लेते हैं। इसी कड़ी में कलाकारों ने ‘नान्चारीनागुलोल्ला नागम्मा’ गीत प्रस्तुत किया। इस गीत में एक लड़का नागम्मा नाम की सुंदर लड़की से शादी का प्रस्ताव रखता है। इस दल के साथ आए डॉ. लिंगा श्रीनिवास ने भी लोकगीत प्रस्तुत किया, जिसके बोल थे ‘मीयारू गुर्रालू मायारू गुर्रालू’। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सभी कलाकारों ने पूरे जोश के साथ ‘जयमु जयमु भारत माता’ गीत गाया, जिसमें भारत माता की स्तुति की गई। सभी कलाकारों के प्रभावशाली गायन पर दर्शकों ने उनका जमकर अभिवादन किया।
