Nrityarupa (Finale) presented by Sangeet Natak Akademi

The video shows the final performance from the dance programme, Nrityarupa, organized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. Nrityarupa showcases the diversity of India's culture through six dance forms: Bharatnatyam of Tamil Nadu; Odissi from Odisha; Manipuri dance from Manipur; Kathak from North India; Kathakali from Kerala and Chhau from East India. The programme presents the highly valuable experience of bringing to stage the evolution of Indian dance in various parts of the country. The mosaic that is Indian culture is reflected through the flawless presentation of these dance forms. The video presents the finale of the programme. At the culmination of the programme, the final piece draws upon the characteristic unity in the diverse tradition of the Indian nation as all the dancers perform in unison to a tarana.
