This book is a collection of selected extracts from the writings of prominent Indian leaders, writers, and poets as well as from the Indian press about the great revolutionary leader, founder of the first workers' and peasants' state in the world, indefatigable champion of the cause of national liberation-Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. The scope of the collection is mostly confined to the pre-independence period of 1917-1947.
