The Treatment of Nature in Sangam Literature (Ancient Tamil Literature)

This book was in its origin a thesis submitted by the author to the University of Madras for the Ph.D. degree in 1947. The first part is on the treatment of Nature from the point of view of the poetry and the poets of the age. The second part is devoted to studying the subject from the point of view of nature itself. The third part deals with the methods in which Nature has been described in Sangam literature.
