The Age of the Kushanas : A Numismatic Study

This book is an important addition to the existing literature on the history of Kushanas. It bears a distinctive character, being based primarily on numismatic evidence, though frequent use has, of necessity, been made of the other available sources of information. Beginning with a general historical survey, the author gives a detailed account of the movements of the Yueh chi, the origin of the Kushāṇas, and their emergence as a great political power.
