The Revolt of 1857 in Central India - Malwa

This book presents a historical and critical account of the Revolt in Central India-Malwa. This thesis is significant for various reasons. First, it supplies valuable links in the so-called War of Independence of 1857 and the history of India. Secondly, the study throws light on the court intrigues, corruption, and human foibles, which were exploited by the British in establishing their suzerainty.
