This book contains the reproductions of Acharya Abanindranath Tagore's paintings and frescos, which are preserved in the Gallery of the Indian Museum, Calcutta. Known for his unique Modern Indian art style, these artworks by Abanindranath Tagore are known to be from the earliest phase of the artist's career. These include Abhisarika, Summer, Dewali as well as Radha and Krishna along with nine others. Alongside the reproductions, this collection contains a detailed description of each artwork and the suggested verse of inspiration for them.
