Atharvan Zarathustra: The Foremost Prophet: A Comparative Study of Hinduism, Zoroastrianism and Islam

1 Jan 1971

Atharvan Zarathustra- The foremost Prophet: a comparative study of Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, and Islam written by Jatindra Mohan Chatterji. This book was published in the year 1971. According to the author, Atharvan Zarathustra existed at the time of the Rigveda and thus the age of the Prophet cannot be placed later than 3000 BC. Moreover, Ahura Mazda has been worshipped in the Rigveda under the name Asura Vedhas and Sura Mahat. This shows that the relations between the forebearers of Hindus and Parsis were friendly. Sufism, on the other hand is an essential part of Islam, and is a reproduction of the Chisthi of the Gatha. Also, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, and Islam bring about a complete revolution with respect to the mutual relationship amongst these religions.
