Annual Report 1902-03

This book lists the annual report issued for the years 1902-1903. The book describes the object and scope of the annual report, the past history of the department, and the functions of the archaeological survey. It further describes the conservation projects in Bombay, Central India, Bengal, Assam, United Provinces, Punjab, Ajmer, Madras, Burma, Monuments at Agra, Sidi Sayyad’s Mosque in Ahmedabad, Mosque at the Gol Gumbaz in Bijapur, the Quila-e-Kuhna Masjid in Delhi, and the Mandalay Palace. Towards the end, the book also describes the excavations of the Buddhist Gold jewellery.
