The book studies the important songs during the time of insurgency in Mizoram. The period of the Mizoram Independent Movement starts to see it daylight in 1966 and it is during this period, the songs that inspired and encouraged the people were the Christian songs of praise and worship. Through the book, we can observe the power of Christianity to give them hope in times of sufferings and united them through songs.
