Gujarat: Its Art-Heritage

This book is based on the Thakkar Vassonji Lectureship Endowment Lectures which Dr M R Majumdar delivered under the auspices of the University of Bombay. The author has revised the original version in the light of research on the subject. The work is a comprehensive survey of the foundation of the art heritage of Gujarat, as also its historical development. Apart from recording the contents of Gujarat’s art heritage, the author has drawn his own conclusions to promote its understanding.
