This book studies the impact of Christianity on political developments in Mizoram. It traces the history of Christianity in the north-east and examines its contributions to educational development, growth of public consciousness and progress. The authors felt that Christianity had played a major role in the modernization of the north-east region but in recent years (before the publication of this book) there had been religious turmoil. Therefore the authors opted for in-depth research to wipe out any turbulence. This book is their desired output.
