This book is written specifically to serve as a text for the introductory course in Biochemistry at the undergraduate level. This includes information on the purely chemical aspects of the compounds found in biological systems. In this book, the author has also considered some of the current information regarding the chemical mechanisms by which metabolic activities are controlled within cells.
