This is the second volume of the book and it provides information on the excavation at Harappa carried out between 1920-21 and 1933-34. It is a compilation of 139 plates showing photographs as well as detailed architectural drawings of several sections (and mounds) of the Harappan site. The plates, through pictures, present details on the archaeological remains found on site. These remains include pottery, jewellery, toys, sculptures, utensils and equipment of the Harappan civilisation. The document also provides a brief sign manual of the inscriptions and motifs found on site.
