Pi pu te hla

This is a book prepared by D. Sailo which is a collection of the songs of the early Mizo, from the period of pre-Christian period to the romantic songs composed in the Christianised period. Some of the themes of the songs are nature, patriotism, nostalgia, romance, and other contemporary songs. After the influence of Christianity, there are also songs composed about the love of the mother to be sung on the occasion of Mother’s day.
