This is a translation of the abridged version of Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, translated by Kailuia Sailo. Through the introduction to the book, we find that the translated story was first published chapter by chapter in the supplement of Young Lushai Association (YLA). Since many people enjoyed the story, it is then compiled into a book.
