This is a curved sword made of fine watered steel blade with a single edged blade in the beginning and a double-edged blade tapering towards the lower end. The surface of the hilt is damascened and decorated with golden coloured floral designs on lower relief with knuckle guard and horned goat head pommel, the horn with their side ward curved twist. The single edged blade with fuller has a slight inclination towards the point. The decorative method on the hilt used here is damascening which is commonly known as patterned gilding. This is one of the best examples of craftsmanship of that period. Simple edged in the beginning but double edged at the lower end. Horn goat head pommel is decorated with golden coloured floral designs in the lower relief.
