Sailabchi

Sailabchi (wash-basin) having a globular body with a flared rim. The detachable perforated lid has a knob in the centre. It is geometrically perforated and inlaid with silver in a single leaf pattern. The entire surface of the sailabchi is ornamented with foliage patterns arranged in circular bands in silver zarnishan technique. The silver has flaked off at many places. It has a round broad base, rim extended outward, with two leaf design bands on it, the body having three bands. Lid with all Jali work in the form of flowers and a knob with sixteen corners.
