Illustrated Folio of Bihari Satsai

A Rajasthani style of painting created using water colour. The painting is illustrated in Devanagari script. Lord Krishana is in dhot, kamarband and mukut. Ladies are in ghagara, choli and odhani. The painting depicts an illustrated Folio of Bihari Satsai. Picture shows Radha and Krishna seated inside a pavilion and engaged in conversation on the top right corner. Below on the left stand three ladies inside a pavilion. One of them points out towards the moon in the sky. On the left are seen four ladies proceeding towards the right in a row. The couplet in Nagari is as follows:- Hohi bori birhabas ke bhoro savnam l Kaha jani kai Kahtu hai sasinhi seelkar nam ll.
