Village Scene

A Pahari style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The painting depicts a village scene. It shows below on the left side a fat Bania (tader) weighing some material on a balance. In front of him there is a man spreading his cloth for receiving the material. A sadhu is seen standing above this scene. He is holding a bowl and a bunch of wood. On the right two persons are cooking food. The hearth is shown in the picture. Below it a man is seen lying on the ground. In this painting, men are in langoti.
