Krishna in Gokul

Illustrated manuscript of Shrimad bhagawata Purvadha Dasham Skandh containing 182 pages and 310 pictures. The back page shows Shuk seated in center. The Front page shows on left Yasodha and Krishna lying on a cot inside the palace. Outside Nand is seen seated in front of two sadhus. One sadhu holding a leaf in his hand and another holding a manuscript. In between the sadhus and Nand two golden jars are kept. On right corner Shuk is seen seated. two calves are also seen suckling milk from two cows. One Man in bagalbandi other one in dhoti. Ladies in ghagra,choli & odhani. A Rajasthani style of painting created using watercolours. Inscription is written in Devanagari script. This belongs to Rajasthani art. Now exhibit in Allahabad Museum, Allahabad.
