An artist, Devayani Krishna, created an artistic work titled 'Underwater S No 6' using etching print. It is now exhibited in the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.

- Devyani Krishna was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She studied art under D.D. Deolalikar in Indore, before attaining a professional diploma in Fine Arts from the Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai in 1936. In 1940-41 Krishna did Post Graduation in Mural Painting,from_x000D_ J.J.School of Art, Bombay. Then further in 1956 Studied ceramic art. Devayani's work speaks of a strong sense of design with colour harmony and broad compositional aspect. She has worked with public themes and delineated it with subtle but powerful lines, through out her artistic career. In 1953 Devyani joined Modern Art School, New Delhi, as an Art Teacher and later became the Head of its Art Dept.. _x000D_
