Wheel of Existance (Bhava Chakra)

An unfinished painting of Wheel of Existence. It is held by a demonic figure on his front. It is surmounted by a male and a female buddhist deities. The circular composition of the Wheel of Life guides the beholder from picture to picture along the black path or the white path. It leads him through the twelve interwoven causes and their consequences to rebirth in one of the so-called Six Worlds. It is a Thangka style of painting. The picture depicts Buddhist culture. This belongs to Thangka art. Now exhibit in Allahabad Museum, Allahabad.
