The subject here is 'The Plants' executed from his memory and experiences. Nandalal was interested in capturing the rhythm and pattern in the varied images of nature. This painting was purchased from collection of Shri Biswaroop Bose and Smt. Nivedita Bose, children of Nandalal Bose.
