This Kangra painting depicts Raja Harishchandra and Queen Taramati standing with hands folded in front of Lord Vishnu while he is depicted in yellow coloured garments, four-armed holding a conch, discus, gada, lotus and a crown adorns his head. In the background the cityscape is depicted as a row of houses with flags on them, thus one can see Vishnu seated on Garuda and appearing from the skies.
