Raja Observing Festival

A Rajasthani style of painting, created on paper and mount using watercolors. The painting shows scene of Gangauri, a festival, being observed by a group of ladies. The picture shows on the top left corner a Raja seated on the roof of his house under a canopy along with two more persons. Two groups of ladies stand on the bank of tank holding effigies of males on their head. A boat is seen lying in the water. On the right side a garden is seen with green trees and monkeys on them.
