Rainy Scene

A Rajasthani style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The painting shows a royal couple and a lady are enjoying rain from their balcony. On the top left side, a couple is enjoying rain inside the balcony of upper storey pavilion of a palace. In the lower portion of the palace, a lady is collecting rainy water in a cup. Above on the right side a forest scene is depicted. An elephant is uprooting a tree, two elephants are fighting each other and some elephants are seen playing near rocks and a lion is shown disturbed on the ground. In this painting, man in bagalbandi style attire, kamarbandh and mukut on his head and the ladies are dressed in ghanghara choli and odhani. Painting is illustrated in Devanagari script.
