Parvati with Ganesha Riding Nandi Bull

This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting which depicts Parvati with Ganesha riding Nandi bull. Parvati wears a choli, a mauve coloured ghagra with a green border, an orange-coloured ordhni. She also wears earrings, a head ornament and bangles. Ahead sits Ganesha. He is of dark red complexion, wears a mukuta and malas. The bull is of white colour, fully caparisoned, a designed cloth is thrown over his back. Siva carrying Kartikeya on his shoulder walks in front of the bull. Siva is blue complexioned, has dark brown hair, a tiger skin tied around his waist. There is a crescent mark on the forehead. He has a stick in his left hand. It has the pink shrubby background and damaged red border on his two sides.
