Krishna on Yamuna Bank

A Rajasthani style of painting created using water colour. The painting is illustrated in Devanagari script. Lord Krishana is in dhot, kamarband and mukut. Illustrated manuscript of Shrimad bhagawata Purvadha Dasham Skandh containing 182 folios and 310 pictures. The back folio shows on left a four armed goddess seated on lotus. In front two ladies are seen standing with folded hands. The front page shows a river bank scene where Krishna is seen seated playing his flute on a tree. Below six ladies are seen naked in the river. They are all pleading Krishna to return their clothes which Krishna has kept on the tree.
