A Rajasthani style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The painting depicts the narrative scene of Bhagwata. It shows the birthday celebrations of Krishna, on the left Yashoda seated inside a pavilion holding in front Krishna in her lap. Two Brahmans are offering blessings standing in front. Behind them stand a lady and a boy. On the right side Yashoda is seated inside a pavilion with Krishna in her lap. She is offering something to a Brahman while Nandji is engaged in Godan (Gaudan) with a Brahman. On the bottom left Nandji is seen seated and four Brahmans are busy in performing yajna while a Brahman is taking away three cows received in offer on the right. In this painting, men in bagalbandi style attire, kamarbandh and pagri on his head and some man in langoti and dhoti and the ladies are dressed in ghanghara choli and odhani. Painting is illustrated in Devanagari script.
