Sahastrsbahu and Parashuram

A Rajasthani style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The painting shows fighting scene between of Sahastrsbahu and Parashuram. Sahastrabahu is a legendary warrior in Hindu mythology. According to legend, he was contemporary to Lord Rama. He fought many fights and won all of them except one with Parshuram who killed all the Kshatriya Kings to take revenge on his parents' death. In this painting, one man in dhoti, kamarbandh and mukut on head and other one in jama.
