This painting belongs to the Pahari school of painting which depicts Krishna standing under a mango tree. He is blue complexioned, wears a mukuta, yellow robe, ear-rings and armlets. He is in a dancing pose. Two gopis are performing music, one is playing on an instrument cymbal and another gopi has her arm stretched out. One gopi wears an ordhni which the choli, a red coloured ghagra with blue strips, ear-rings, a head ornament, bangles, malas of pearls, and the hands are dyed red and she holds cymbals. Another gopi wears a choli, a red coloured ghagara, and an ordhni and ornaments. The third gopi also wears choli, ghagara, ordhni and ornaments. Houses, bushes and trees are seen beyond the yellow background. It has a blue sky and red border on two sides.
