Krishna Playing Flute

A Rajasthani style of painting created using water colour. The painting is illustrated in Devanagari script. Lord Krishana-Balram is in dhot, kamarband and mukut. Ladies are in ghanghara, choli and odhani. Illustrated manuscript of Shrimad Bhagawata Poorvardh Dasham Skandh containing 182 pages and 310 pictures. The reverse of the folio shows Krishna standing in the middle the painting in a river playing his flute and on left a lady drapped in green sari is seen offering something to him and three cows are seen behind the lady. On right another lady is seen drapped in red sari with four cows standing behind her.
