Krishna and Balram

A Rajasthani style of painting created using water colour. The painting is illustrated in Devanagari script. Lord Krishana is in dhot, kamarb and and mukut, others are in dhoti and pagree. Illustrated manuscript of Shrimad bhagawata Purvadha Dasham Skandh containing 182 folios and 310 pictures. The front folio shows river bank scene where five trees are seen and river is shown full of lotuses. On the bank Krishna and Balram are show seated with their hands raised. On left two gopas are also seen seated.
