Metascape III

This painting is titled Metascape III. It is painted by Akbar Padamsee using oil on canvas. The Metascape series is the most distinguished work of Padamsee with the use of bold and bright colour applications with a denotative sense. The presence of the sun, the moon, mountains and the elements of the landscape come out of his bright canvas, with the striking colours he juxtaposes on his canvas. This is now exhibited in the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
