Rama and Sita

A Pahari style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The painting shows Rama and Sita seated on full bloomed lotus on a golden throne. They are shown in royal attire which is made in mughal style. A large halo is made on the back of the Rama which shows his divinity. A chatra above him indicating his kingship. A beautiful garden with flowers and banana tree has been shown in the background. Some fruits are kept in front of them on a small chowki. A beautiful border with decorative designs has been made outside of the painting. In this painting, Krishna in gherdar jama and mukut on head and the lady is dressed in ghanghara choli and odhani.
