This artwork is titled Genesis. It is painted by Biren De using oil on canvas. De was known for his Neo Tantric style of paintings which was dominated by concentric rings, crescents and orbs. This style was symbolic with meanings. The use of the blue tones bringing in the magical quality to the work symbolises the union of the Purusha and Prakriti, the union of the male and female forms. This is now exhibited in the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
