Nandgaon main Nanda-Vasudev Samvaad

A Rajasthani style of painting, created on paper using watercolors. The picture depicts an illustration from Bhagwata. It shows on the top left corner a Raja holding the hand of a lady seated face to face. One lady is seen seated on either side of the couple. In the centre Vishnu is seen seated on a lotus seat. On the right extreme side Nand and Vasudeva are engaged in discourse inside a tent. In another tent a man is seen seated looking to left. Below on the left corner a man is seen lying and a lady seated beside him in grief. In the next pavilion a couple is engaged in conversation. On the extreme right a king is listening to religious discourse by a Brahman. Above this scene there are four seated bulls and two carts. In this painting, some men are in dhoti with kamarbandh, mukut on his head and jama-pajama and the ladies are dressed in ghanghara choli and odhani. Painting is illustrated in Devanagri script.
